This might sound funny but in the very beginning before we were open we just thought that CUPCAKES! would be a cute name for a children's & mommy store! I had kept a name of a local baker that I thought would be fun to work with someday. We didn't realize we would need her right off the bat for all those people stopping, because of our name, to pick up a cupcake to eat!
You can see the cupcake fans as they walk through the door their faces go from excitement to gloom! They usually say something like, "Oh, you sell clothes..." Then we bring back the smiles with, "Are you looking for cupcakes? Our Flavor today is..." Then boom their craving is satisfied for that day anyway!!!
Sweet Sensations is the local bakery we promote. She has a fabulous bakery on the West side of town. She actually had shut down and was doing daycare but her heart was in baking! When we connected with her she was very thrilled! She brings in fresh individually packaged decedent cupcakes as often as demand dictates! We have had so many yummy flavors and we always take requests!!

CUPCAKES! has cupcakes every day that we are open! Thursday afternoons from 2-4 are Make You Smile hours! If you come in during this time we sell both sizes for 1/2 the price!!
